Beschäftigten-Umfrage 2026Employee survey 2026

Works council – what does it have to do with me?

Was erwartest du von deinem Betriebsrat?

What do you expect from your works council? Which topics matter to you? How well informed do you feel – and what should change? Gemeinsam AKTIV! wants to listen rather than make assumptions. This survey is an invitation to tell us openly what works, what is missing and what we can improve together.

Warum diese Umfrage zu uns gehörtWhy this survey is part of who we are

Mehr Sichtbarkeit. Mehr Transparenz. Mehr Beteiligung.More visibility. More transparency. More participation.

One of the reasons Gemeinsam AKTIV! came into being is an issue that has concerned us for years: works council activities need to be more visible, easier to understand and more approachable for employees. Insufficient communication and participation in works council elections that falls far short of what active co-determination should look like are not something we simply want to accept.

Unser Anspruch seit dem StartOur commitment from the start

Openness, transparency and employee representation that actively seeks contact with the workforce – not only when the next works council election is approaching. We want to be measured against that commitment between elections as well.

As a works council group, we do not want to claim that we know what “the workforce” thinks. We want to ask. This survey is intended to show how works council activities, information and opportunities to participate are actually perceived – including critical feedback about our own work.

Mitbestimmung lebt vom MitmachenCo-determination needs participation

Genau dafür steht unser Name: Gemeinsam AKTIV! – wir l(i)eben Mitbestimmung.

We want to strengthen participation beyond election campaigns and use the results to raise concrete issues and improve communication between employees and the works council. That is exactly what our name stands for: Gemeinsam AKTIV! – we l(i)ove co-determination.
